1. Residential Building
The buildings in which people can live securely and also which have many parts like bedroom, dining room, bathroom, living room, storage room, and garage are called residential rooms.
In the world of buildings, residential buildings are one of the most constructed buildings. Because of living a comfortable life, humans need many more facilities like sleeping, a kitchen for making food, and a bathroom for comfort. 2. Educational Building
For it to be called an educational building, The building should match some criteria. The college, schools, and the university are also part of the educational building. The institutional building is generally constructed by the semi-government or by the government organizations or the registered trusts for multi-purpose use.

The assembly building is defined as parts of buildings in which the local householders gather for recreation, religion, the intent of amusement, social, patriotic, travel, civil, or another similar purpose.
As a building, this is constructed like an auditorium, drama hall, sports complex, gymnasium, movie house, dance club, boarding house, airports, railway stations, taxi stands, bus stops, mangal karyalayas, museums exhibition hall, piers, etc are parts of the assembly building.
5. Business Building
The building in which people are doing professional work like maintaining the business accounts, keeping records of business transactions, and also managing bookkeeping or other types of records is called business building.
The office building, private schools, colleges, banks, shopping malls, etc can be categorized as business-type buildings.
6. Mercantile Building
The buildings are generally used for showrooms or stores, housing shops, where display and sale, the wholesale goods, merchandise is carried out or retail goods are called mercantile buildings. Sometimes this mercantile building is called a business building.
Because this type of building can be accommodated as storage and an essential place of providing business facilities and offices which are located in the same building.
7. Industrial Building
The buildings, which are constructed to process or assemble materials or products, manufactured products are called industrial buildings. 8. Storage Building
A building is called a storage building when it is used as a goods storage building, merchandise, storage of commodities, etc. The included building buildings are grain storage units, warehouses, cold storage, freight depot, barns stables, public garages, hangars, transit sheds, truck terminals, etc.
9. Wholesale Established Building
This type of building includes wholesale manufactured and trade wholesale shops with storage and warehouse facility, an establishment for providing truck transportation booking service.
10. Mixed Land Used Building
The building which is used for both residential and non-residential purposes is called mixed land used building.
11. Hazardous Building
In this hazardous building, there are two types of building. One type of building is used for processing, manufacturing, storage, and handling of a substance that is radioactive, capable of turning a, and highly explosive, or which has the potential to create poisonous emissions or fumes that can harm nature.
Another part of the building is used for processing, manufacturing, storage, and handling of a substance that is toxic or nontoxic alkalis and highly corrosive and doesn’t have the potential to create poisonous emissions or fumes.
12. Detached Building
The buildings which have open space within their boundaries and their walls and roofs are fully detached from other buildings are called detached buildings.
13. Semi-detached Building
The building which is detached from the other building with three sides and three sides has open boundaries and touches one side which has closed boundaries is called a semi-detached building.
14. Multi-story or high-rise buildings
The buildings whose height is more than 15 meters or more than 17.5 meters with stilt and above the average level of the front road and also more than 4 stories are called multi-story or high-rise buildings.

15. Slump
Slump buildings are one of the worst types of buildings in the world. To construct this type of building uses a very low quantity of money and it is not maintained The ventilation system is very poor in this type of building, which makes the building non-habitable.
16. Unsafe Buildings
The structure is connected very badly and the structure looks very poor. There are many damaged parts in the structure also that have no proper entry or exit and which is creating danger for the people who live in the building. It is called an unsafe building.
17. Multi-level car parking
The multi-level car parking building is one of the famous buildings. It has many facilities. To construct this type of building many advantageous technologies are used.
The multi-level car parking buildings are connected either below the ground level with two or more basements or otherwise, above the ground level with two or more floors for parking light motorized vehicles like bikes, cars, scooters, and many more.
