How Many 80 Lb. Bags of Concrete on a Pallet?
A pallet also called a skid, is a flat transport structure that stably supports goods while being left by a forklifted, a pallet jack, a front loader, a jacking device, or an erect crane.
The store ordered the amount of bagged concrete mix depending on their inventory of that specific product and what they figured needed for “extra” inventory. For an 80 lb. bag, they normally put 42 bags on a pallet.
The 60 lb. bags of concrete mix have 56 bags on a pallet, and the 40 lb. bags have 80 on a pallet. Due to a typo, an additional forty 80 – lb bags of sakrete high-strength concrete mix was delivered to our job site on a shrink-wrapped pallet.
